Over the last 15 years, the House of Cakes bakery has been producing cakes to order for birthdays and special occasions. Today they are the leaders in their trade in Dubai. As far as quality is concerned, in the words of the owners themselves – “you have to see and try them for yourselves to believe it”.

The Challenge

The House of Cakes Bakery got in touch with us as they wanted to increase their online sales. The business is popular and established on the market, so the owners were looking for a reliable partner to delegate their marketing operations to as it was taking up a lot of their time. They were looking for good and timely service, quality communication and growth in sales, which they hadn’t experienced with the previous agencies they have worked with.

The Solution

We found out the issues they were facing and the advantages their competitors had. We looked at their results to date and what resources we had, both financial and digital. We built up and optimized the campaigns we knew were working for the company. We scaled Google Shopping and dynamic ads in Facebook. We tried out various remarketing strategies. We added new audiences which the company hadn’t sought out previously – people with upcoming birthdays, users with similar profiles to those who had made orders, people looking for gifts for special occasions, etc. We researched the top products that the customers enjoyed and highlighted their uniqueness and beauty in the ad creatives. After a few months of collaboration with positive results, we agreed on the next step - to develop a new website that is fast, easy to use and with a distinctive design.
